No Place Home - Bath

No Place Home - Bath, taking place from April 30 - 4 May will involve participants and professionals from various homeless related organisations within Bath. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in, tell their story, and gain skills in drama, music and film related activities. The week of workshops and the performance evening on Friday 4 May will be held at Windows Arts Centre.

To date, partnership organisations include -

windows art center Without a doubt, Windows is the funkiest venue in town, as well as being the most diverse - especially now we have our new paint job.

We host an enormous variety of dance, theatre, music, circus and other visual art. In addition, we have regular workshops.

Other facilities include private hire of the space for arts related events, full stage lighting and sound rig, video editing suite, and a licensed café/bar.

Pathways Project - Wells Road, Bath

Pathways is a project run by the Bath Self Help Housing Association Ltd. The aim of the project is to provide young homeless people aged 16-19 who are homeless with the best possible chance of moving into and sustaining independent accommodation.

Pathways is situated at 18 -24 Wells Road, Bath and provides accommodation for 3-6 months while residents can gain skills in various courses and activities offered, and are able to move on to more long term accommodation

off the record Off The Record (Bath and North East Somerset)

Off The Record offers a free, independent and confidential information, advice and counselling service to young people aged 12-25 and those concerned about young people, for example; parents, carers, teachers and social workers.

We provide information, advice and support on a wide range of issues including health issues, drugs and alcohol, education, relationships, welfare rights, housing, sexual issues, mental health issues or anything which is of concern.

Off The Record also provides other specialist services:

The Advocacy Service provides support to young people who are in the process of leaving the care system and young people who may be homeless.

The Young Parents Project provides information, support and practical assistance to young parents to be and young parents with children.

The Young Carers Project provides a specialist service for children and young people aged under 25 with careing responsibilities.

The Youth Action Committee is a group of young people aged 12-25, that provide a voice in the running and management of Off The Record.

Rackfield House is owned and managed by the Solon South West Housing Association Limited. Rackfield House provides temporary low support accommodation for single homeless people in Bath aged 18 -65. 

Solon provides and manages good quality homes for people in greatest housing need.  Solon is committed to urban regeneration and to working in partnership with residents, local authorities and other agencies to achieve this aim.

The Bath Foyer is a housing and training project for young people managed by Bath Self Help Housing Association.  As a member of the Foyer Federation, the Bath Foyer provides accommodation for young people who are in need of housing and who want opportunities for training, personal development or employment. 
 
The Foyer building comprises 25 self contained one person flats and 5 two person flats.
