Why Film?

Inspired by the likes of Mike Leigh, Ken Loach, Andrea Arnold but mainly by real peoples’ experiences, film is integral to what we do here at Kandu Arts. It's accessible (everyone loves a good story) and a great way to explore difficult issues, learn skills and explain our worlds to each other.

We use a fantastic technical team, who work alongside participants to create short films, features, documentaries on a range of issues.

See below or click here for our Youtube channel where all our films, feature length, shorts and student films from our film festival are available to watch. We also create films covering our activities such as Kandu Kicks tournaments.

By clicking on the links below, the feature films and shorts are also available via the dedicated pages.
